Ghyllgrove Community Primary School &Resource Base for Deaf Children

Happy | Safe | Achieving

Welcome from Mrs. Tidiman, Headteacher

Hello my name is Mrs. Tidiman and on behalf of all of the children, staff and governors I would like to wish you a very big welcome to our school website.

I am very proud to be the Headteacher at Ghyllgrove Community Primary School & Resource Base for Deaf Children. This is truly a special school where all staff are dedicated to providing the best for all the children. Our aim is to ensure that all children are safe, achieving to their best and happy. We achieve this by providing a well-structured, engaging curriculum that builds progressively throughout your child’s time in the school. All staff positively promote and demonstrate the good behaviours that we expect at school. We are all dedicated to ensuring that children develop a love of learning, as well as respect and care for one another. Please take a look at Ghyllgrove’s Learning Powers on our home page or ask your child what they are.

I believe that a partnership between parents/carers, families and school is one of the most important relationships, to ensure that the children are able to fulfil their potential. The school is proud of its links with other agencies within our community to support all our families and children.

I hope that our website will be a way of keeping you informed of all that we are doing. It is frequently being updated to give you the latest information. If you would like anything added to the website then please contact the school office.

I am delighted that you have taken the opportunity to look at the website and hope that it has given you an insight into the daily life of our school. Should you require further information about the curriculum or aspects of our school, please contact us on 01268 450067.
