Meet The Staff in Nursery 

Hello! My name is Mrs Webb and I am the Nursery teacher. I have worked at Ghyllgrove for 5 years and I have over 20 years Early Years experience. 

I absolutely love working in Early Years because no day is ever the same! We have an adventure each day and have lots of fun whilst we learn. We love going on a bear hunt, searching for the Gruffalo, stomping like dinosaurs and looking for bugs! 

I know your are going to love coming to Ghyllgrove Nursery each day and I cannot wait for our journey to start. I am so excited to see you and show you around our classroom!

Meet The Staff in Class 1

Hello everyone!

In Class One you are very lucky as you have two class teachers.  Mrs Piggott will be your class teacher on a Monday and Tuesday and Mrs Brandon teaches you on a Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.  Together we have over thirty years teaching experience. We are looking forward to having lots of fun playing and learning together in our indoor and outdoor classroom. We like getting messy, being creative, sharing and caring. We can't wait to meet you all on your visit days and start your learning journey at Ghyllgrove together.

Hello everyone! My name is Miss McKeon and I am the Class 2 teacher. I have been worked at Ghyllgrove for 13 years, 10 of those have been in Early Years (which I absolutely love!) We have so much fun in Reception and every day is so different with lots of fun activities and games to take part in! We are very lucky to have a large classroom and garden which is full of wonderful toys and resources for you to play with! I know we are going to have so much fun together in Class 2 and I cannot wait for our learning journey together to start. I am so excited to see you all in the next few weeks! 

Meet The Staff in Class 3 

Hello everyone, 

My name is Mrs Mahadeo and I am your Class 3 teacher. I am incredibly excited to be joining Ghyllgrove this year as an Early Career Teacher. In addition to my teacher training, I have previously worked in Early Years, KS1, KS2 and supported children speech and language difficulties in specialist provision. My greatest passions are teaching, language, literature and reading. I just love books and stories! I cannot wait to share my favourite stories with you all and learn about your favourite books, rhymes and poems too. We are very lucky to have a large classroom and a beautiful garden full of wonderful toys and resources to play with. We will have lots of fun together everyday at school and I am looking forward to sharing your learning journey with you and your family. I will see you all again very soon!
