Safeguarding
At Ghyllgrove Primary School and Nursery, the health, safety, and emotional well-being of all children are of paramount importance. Parents and carers send their children to school each day with the expectation that we provide a secure, nurturing, and safe environment in which every child can flourish. We cultivate a deep sense of belonging, ensuring all pupils know they are uniquely valued.
Our community is built on a foundation of kindness and compassion, where every child’s voice is heard. We look after our pupils' welfare with the utmost care, instilling hope for their bright futures and addressing any concerns seriously. All staff members and governors receive appropriate child protection training, regularly updated in line with advice from the Essex Safeguarding Children Board (ESCB), so that our caring adults can protect and uplift every child.
