Computing skills, including word-processing, data handling, modelling of information and the control of devices, are taught both formally and discretely as a means of supporting other areas of the curriculum. Pupils learn to use a variety of software packages, which are appropriate both to a range of subjects and the different ages and abilities of the children; they are encouraged to communicate ideas and information in a variety of forms, where appropriate, using equipment and computer software to enhance their learning. Children are taught computing within their classrooms.. The children have access to both laptops and Ipads are also taught about how to keep themselves safe online.
