Communication at Ghyllgrove Infants
The Big Chat display in our main hall encourages all children to participate in group discussion. The question on the display is discussed as a whole school in assembly, and then children are given the opportunity to add their ideas to the display. Keep looking, some fantastic ideas are coming soon!!
We started the 'Top Chatter' this week. Every half term, 2 children are selected to initiate conversation with others around the school. Well done to Skye and Justin who are our first 'Top Chatters!'
Congratulations to Jack and Chloe who have been picked to be our Top Chatters for the rest of the summer term!
Nursery have been working hard on their speech and language! Look at the fantastic display showing their thoughts and ideas. The photographs show the children using their talk boxes and communicating with others.
Our summer term 'no pens morning' was all about celebrating our achievements this school year. Year 2 had a fabulous time talking and sharing stories. Reception enjoyed talking about their learning and looking at their learning journeys.
